The final stage of the Fogartys Gap Rd upgrade project has been completed and the road is now open to traffic. Unfortunately the ‘white bike’ memorial to Michael Grinter, that was near the cutting, is still missing.

Trail experts quietly began work last month on a major, six-month study to determine the feasibility of the Castlemaine – Maryborough rail trail.
