Bike riders can now carry their bikes on racks at the front of the bus, when travelling on local routes 1-6 in and around Castlemaine ( to Campbells Creek, Harcourt, Maldon, Taradale and Chewton), thanks to the extension of the Victorian Government’s Bikes on Buses initiative.
Two bikes can be safely loaded, with all bus drivers on these routes having completed training to assist passengers in bringing their bikes on board.
